Arena: Network, Firewall and VR Systems

The venue

Arena runs VR and arcade attractions, esports, a café and live events in the same building. Everything on the floor depends on the network behind it.

What I work on

  • Networking: assisted with the MikroTik setup, including VLAN segmentation, and with the Huawei firewall configuration.
  • Systems: assisted with administering the Raccoon Café system, BioTime biometric attendance, Viplex digital displays and Audac audio.
  • Hardware: PC and VR/arcade maintenance, hardware repairs, network troubleshooting.
  • Events: monitoring and control-room operation during live events, including the Infinix launch event.
  • Real Madrid Academy: installed and maintain the IT support system.

Dune Menu

DUNE Menu is the digital menu and QR ordering system for DUNE Coffee House × Arena Erbil. Guests scan the QR code at their table, PC, bowling lane or console, browse the menu in English, Arabic or Kurdish, and send their order to the café on WhatsApp. Staff run everything (menu, photos, rooms, printable QR cards, messages and analytics) from one admin panel that saves as they type.
